Kaushik Pal was born on October 19, 1979, in undivided Midnapore. Education: Kumud Kumari Institution, Jhargram Raj College, and Vidyasagar University. Since childhood, he has had an irresistible attraction to the playground, especially to the 22 yards of cricket. He has always been eager to learn new things. In April 2006, he joined the magazine Anandalok as a trainee journalist and later took on editorial responsibilities. He has written several short stories for Anandamela, Unish Kuri, and the Rabibasariya section of Anandabazar Patrika. His first novel, Plabon, was published in 2020 in the Puja edition of Sananda. The following year, his second novel, Udaan, was also published in the same magazine. During his leisure time, Kaushik loves to explore nature - sometimes trekking the remote trails of Sikkim on foot, and at other times biking through Meghalaya.
