Himu Samagra (Vol 1 & 2) by Humayun Ahmed [Hardcover]

I don’t even know how many books I’ve written about Himu. Whenever I’m in a bad mood, I sit down to write Himu—and my mood lifts. But writing too much doesn’t always bring good results. That was true in my case as well. In many places, I ended up making a mess.

Himu’s panjabi (kurta) is supposed to have no pockets, yet in one book, I wrote that he pulled money out of his pocket. Himu’s aunt Majeda Khala became Majeda Fupu in another book. Still, I’m happy that Himu himself remains unchanged. Himu is just the way he’s supposed to be. He isn’t aging. He isn’t changing.

With that joyful news, I end this preface.
