বিশ্বপ্রকৃতির অনন্তমানসে দুষ্কৃতী বিনাশে, সাধু পরিত্রাণে সেই আদ্যাশক্তি বারংবার অবতীর্ণা হয়েছেন। তাঁর সমগ্র অস্তিত্বের শুদ্ধিস্পর্শে বিশ্বব্রহ্মাণ্ড ভারসাম্যে পুনঃপ্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছে বারংবার। সেই শুভশক্তির অমোঘ বিধানেই অনন্ত ছায়াপথ থেকে ক্ষুদ্রাতিক্ষুদ্র উপলখণ্ডশরীরে সজ্জিত হয়েছে এক সুশৃঙ্খল বিন্যাস। আর সেই আদ্যশক্তিকে আপন বিদ্যা-বুদ্ধি-ক্ষমতা দিয়ে সাহায্য করেছে এ মহাবিশ্বের প্রতিটি শুভবুদ্ধিসম্পন্ন জাতক।

আজ এ শারদীয়ায় তাই সমগ্র বাঙালিজাতি আরও একবার করছে দেবীর আহ্বান— যেটুকু সাধ্য তা দিয়ে। সেই আহ্বানযজ্ঞে যোগ দিতে এগিয়ে এসেছে অন্তরীপও। সৎসাহিত্য তার আয়ূধ। সৎচিন্তার বিকাশ তার আকাঙ্ক্ষা। দেবীপ্রণামে তাই অন্তরীপ পত্রিকা সযত্নে তুলে ধরেছে শারদ সাহিত্যের এক অনন্য সম্ভার। যেখানে ইতিহাসচেতনা, সমাজচেতনা, মননচর্যা, বৌদ্ধিক অনুশীলন ও সাহসিকতার মতো গুণাবলির সন্ধান করা হয়েছে ফিকশন ও নন-ফিকশনে। একগুচ্ছ উপন্যাস-গল্প-কবিতা এবং বিশেষ রচনা ও প্রবন্ধে খুঁজে পেতে চাওয়া হয়েছে বাঙালির স্বরূপ, বাঙালি পাঠকের হৃদয়ের পথ।

অন্তরীপ আশা করে, পাঠকের মনের অন্তঃস্থলে এই শারদ-অর্ঘ্যটি স্থান করে নেবে। কামনা করে, এই উপচার দেবীপ্রণামে অপ্রতুল হবে না। কেননা, এক সামান্য কাঠবিড়ালিও এক বিশাল সেতুতে বালিমুঠি অবদান রাখতে পেরেছিল কখনও।

The universe believes in balance. From the beginning to the end of creation, it is always the search for this balance. And when human greed and foolishness disturb this balance, placing the unworthy in rightful places, it is then that the primordial force, Nature Mother, takes the responsibility of restoring harmony into her own hands.

In the eternal consciousness of the universe, to destroy the wicked and save the righteous, that primordial force has incarnated repeatedly. Through the purifying touch of her entire existence, the cosmos has been reestablished in balance time and again. By the unyielding laws of this benevolent force, from the vastness of the galaxies to the tiniest particle, a well-ordered system has been created. And it is with wisdom, intelligence, and power that every virtuous soul in this universe has aided this force.

Today, in this Sharad (autumn) season, the entire Bengali community once again calls upon the Goddess— to the best of their ability. To join in this call, Antareep has also come forward. Good literature is its weapon. The development of righteous thought is its desire. In reverence to the Goddess, the Antareep magazine has carefully curated a unique collection of Sharadiya (autumn) literature. Within it, one can find an exploration of qualities such as historical consciousness, social awareness, intellectual practice, and courage, all embedded in both fiction and non-fiction. Through a series of novels, stories, poems, and special essays, the true essence of the Bengali identity and the path to the heart of the Bengali reader have been sought.

Antareep hopes that this Sharadiya offering will find a place deep within the hearts of the readers. It prays that this offering in the Goddess's name will not be in vain. After all, even a small squirrel once contributed a handful of sand to a great bridge.
