Grimm Bhaider Rupkatha by Mohan Lal Gangopadhyay [Hardcover]

Mohanlal Gangopadhyay was born on August 19, 1909, in Kolkata. His father was Manilal Gangopadhyay, and his maternal grandfather was Abanindranath Tagore. He studied at Hare School, Presidency College, and the London School of Economics. He was associated with the University of Calcutta and the Statistical Institute and was renowned as a statistician.

Encouraged by Abanindranath, he started writing stories from a young age. His first published book was Sonar Jharna. His works, such as Boarding School, Babui’s Adventure, Lafa Jatra, Charanik, and his translation of All Quiet on the Western Front, have enriched Bengali children's literature.

Other notable works include Asamapta Chotabdi and Punardarshanaya Ch. His books Golpodadar Golpo, Grimm Brothers' Fairy Tales, and Kishore Rochonashongroho have been published by Ananda Publishers.

He passed away on January 14, 1969.
