"Bidisha, a young woman from a middle-class Kolkata family, goes to the United States for higher studies. Her friend Kanishka also leaves the country, taking up a job at the Indian Embassy in Venezuela. In the unfamiliar city, Bidisha receives help from Benjamin Greenberg.
