Here, the author prioritizes visual imagery in the form of a medium-length novel. As a result, the traditional Gothic structure of the novel is not followed here. While emphasizing contemporary history, Thakur Ramakrishna Dev and Vivekananda also appear indirectly. ‘Ekla Pathe’ may be akin to a kaleidoscope, where the author seeks to bow only to Rabindranath through a unique and different prose style.
