Assistant Drug Controller Tamoghnya Mitra receives an anonymous phone call alleging that the well-known pharmaceutical company Ray Pharma is marketing substandard medicines. When Tamoghnya personally conducts chemical analyses of the drugs, the allegation proves to be true. He immediately takes steps to stop the sale of Ray Pharma’s medicines. In the course of events, botanist Dipisa becomes involved. Repeatedly, hired assassins launch deadly attacks on Tamoghnya’s life.

Meanwhile, Debangi, Dipisa’s elder sister, discovers that something suspicious is happening at Jibandip, the nursing home founded by her grandfather and father.
